Fun Agility Area
Hosted by Bearsden Dog Training Club, this drop-in area gives pups the chance to try out jumps, tunnels and more in a safe, relaxed setting.
Great for first-timers or just burning off a little energy. Access is included in your ticket price.
Poochie Pete And His Very Big Feet Live Reading and Draw-Along
Dougie Payne of Travis, brings his debut picture book Poochie Pete And His Very Big Feet to Barklove for a unique live experience.
Joined by illustrator Rachel Seago, audiences can enjoy a live reading, draw-along activities and musical moments inspired by the story of a lovable dog searching for where he belongs.

Wellbeing in the Warehouse
We have some outstanding wellbeing sessions including Paws & Reset led by Fi Duffy of Scottish Canine Wellness, these peaceful sessions offer a calm moment for both dogs and humans.

Tarot by Peachy
A lighthearted touch of mysticism, Peachy’s playful, dog-themed tarot readings bring a bit of fun insight – whether you’re there with your dog or just soaking up the good vibes.
Readings are included in your ticket price and are drop in, so swing by whenever you like.
Barklove in The Poetry Club
Highlights include an animal CPR and first aid demonstration from the team at Vets Now Hospital Glasgow, alongside an introduction to at-home grooming from Shannon Burke and Erin McElroy of award-winning groomers Shampooch Dog Grooming.

Dog-friendly DJ sets are back at Barklove, bringing feel-good tunes and laid-back vibes for both humans and hounds. Expect a carefully curated soundtrack, plenty of tail wags and a relaxed atmosphere where dogs can socialise while owners soak up the festival spirit.
Dog Chill-Out Area in Collaboration with Soothe and Settle
Festivals can be exciting, and every dog experiences them differently. Created in collaboration with Soothe & Settle, our Dog Chill Out Area offers a calm, welcoming space away from the bustle of the event where dogs can relax, decompress and recharge. Whether they need a quiet moment between activities, a comfortable place to rest, or simply a break from all the sights, sounds and new experiences, this dedicated wellbeing space is open throughout the day for dogs and their humans to enjoy together.
