*You don’t need to have a dog to join the fun – Barklove is for everyone, whether you’re a proud pup parent, thinking about getting a dog or just love a good dog-spotting session.*

DOG TERMS & CONDITIONS – GENERAL ADMISSION ONLY

*Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times

We’re so excited to welcome you to Barklove! To help make the day enjoyable and safe for everyone, we kindly ask all attendees bringing dogs to follow these guidelines:

Consider your dog’s needs: Barklove will be a lively environment with lots of people, other dogs, and activity. If your dog is nervous, easily stressed, or uncomfortable around crowds or other animals, it might be best for them to sit this one out.

Keep dogs close: All dogs must be on a short lead and under control at all times. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please avoid using extendable leads – they can easily get tangled, and it’s much harder to control your dog when they’re far away. If a dog shows signs of distress or aggression, we may ask you to step away from busy areas or, if necessary, leave the event. Dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised, and up to date with their vaccinations (this will not be checked on entry).

Be a responsible owner: By bringing your dog, you’re confirming that they are well behaved, vaccinated, healthy to attend and not in heat.

You’re also agreeing to take full responsibility for their behaviour throughout the day. We recommend checking your pet insurance to ensure your dog is covered for public liability in the unlikely event they harm another dog or person.

Coming with children? Please ensure they are supervised at all times and understand not to approach unfamiliar dogs without the owner’s permission. Even friendly dogs can get startled in busy settings.

In case of incidents: Owners are legally liable for any injury or damage caused by their dogs. The Barklove and SWG3 team cannot accept responsibility for the actions of individual dogs or owners. If you or your dog are harmed by another dog, this must be resolved directly with the other party, as you would in a public space. Barklove staff are not able to mediate disputes.

Clean-up: Please pick up after your dog, waste bags and bins will be available throughout the site.

Anyone deemed not to be acting responsibly, failing to control their dog, or breaking these rules may be asked to leave the event.
